Problems with Reeflux bulb

I purchased 3 ReefLux 400w 12000K bulbs from PA I recived the first two and put them in and they fired right up. I got the Third bulb late yesterday via UPS. I let it acclumate to the house temp over night and put it in place this morning. However it woun't fire! I took it back out and check all connection to see if somthing came undone. I tried again with the same results. (Nothing!

) I took it back out and replaced it with the old bulb, also a ReefLux 400w 10000K and it fired right up!

Any suggestion?

Martin, I think you;ve done the correct thing by calling PA. Other than that, I think the bulb is a dud. It happens sometimes...

Bad deal on the bulb. They will probably make it right tho!!!! What do the 12K look like?

I like them better than the 10K and I like the 10k alot! I will post a pic once the bulb is re placed.

Yes, They called me back about 9:00am this morning. They are taking care of everything. I should have the new bulb on friday!

They even sending a prepaid shipping label to send back the dud bulb. PA is the greatest.
