Re: new lights

thats an awesome price! Where did you get it and does it come in a fixture or is this a DIY? I'm very interested. the only brand in this range is jebo/odyssea. And yes thats plenty for anything you want to keep in a 90, anemone's or sps, lps, anything anywhere.

Re: new lights

Yep, they are the odyssea jebo lights exactly like the ones from aquatraders. There are a few different dealers and some call them hobby, jebo, odyssea, and aquaview.

Re: new lights

Hmmm..... Well if you got the 2007 model imo there quality. There is a ton of bad publicity of them, but i think they have fixed the problem. When they had magnetic ballasts they were burning up all teh time, but now that they are electric ballasts they are suposedly fixed. Like i said imo, i would run one. But you will get a ton of people tell u that there brothers friends friend had one and it caught fire. They had past probs, but i think there better now. Seriously keep me posted on how they do. PM me or somethin and good luck!

Does this fixture come with a manufacturer's warranty? Probably doesn't matter but I'm just curious.

Where is this fixture made? Is it made in China? What brand of lamps were included???

Is this the same fixture that used to be called Jebo? And then it was called Odyssea? Is Aquaview the latest name for the same fixtures that used to be sold as Jebo?

If so, there is a lot of feedback on these fixtures on the various boards, especially Reef Central. You might want to review it. It's almost all negative.

Re: new lights

Its the new jebo /odyssea model, electric ballasts much better. Yes its made in china but many lights are these days. The actual bulb's that comes with teh fixture need to be replaced, they are pretty junky. But what do you expect for that cheap.
