Current Nova SlimPaq T5 9W Retrofit Light

Hello,

Is anyone familiar with or currently using the Current Nova SlimPaq T5 Retrofit Light? I am interested in linking 6 of the together for my 60 gal cube, but haven't heard much about them. I have a T5 setup diagonally hanging from my canopy, since the canopy is not as wide as the tank...BIG bummer there . It's a 24"x 4 setup. I thought switching to the Current Nova SlimPaq 18" model would help a little. I could run them straight across the tnk instead of diagonally. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Oh yeah... would you run 3-10ks and 3-Actinics or would you split them up. I'll be getting 6 toatal.

From what I just read, it doesn't look as tho this fixture has individual reflectors for the T5 bulbs. I do know that these bulbs do better with invidual reflectors.
I personally have no experience with the T5. Have you tried soing a search around here on T5 bulbs?

Re: Current Nova SlimPaq T5 9W Retrofit Light

Just wanted to give evryone an update. These little lights are great At 9w each they put out A LOT of light. I did order the 6 lamp mount, but only 3 lamps. I started with 2-10ks and 1-Actinic. I am amazed at the amount of light they put off. They are much better thatn the 24" 4 lamps setup I sold. Now I just need to figure out what I want to put in the 3 empty slots
