Is there REALLY any difference between Spider Light, Reeflectors, PFO reflectors, aluminum foil, or even sheet metal???

The more reflective the material the more it reflects light. The shape makes the light reflect in that paticular direction that is designed for, so I would say the answer is yes, they do make a diffrence.

The PFO Reeflectors come in either perpendicular designs or parallel designs. Their perpendicular reflector measures 10.5"x12" so it will fit in places that the Spider Light won't. The PFO parallel reflectors come in 15", 24" and 36" lengths. I purchased pc's of spectral aluminum and had in bent to suit my hood. They are polished to a mirror finish and I am very happy with the reflective results. I got mine here
http://www.aquatictech.com/lighting.html The aluminum is at the bottom of the page.

IME any polished alum. is equal= spyder and pfo. both look the same. I used both and the alum sheet. I put the sheet on the canopy to help protect the wood and use reeflectors because its the bends that help reflect. pfo(cheaper) will be fine but you can make it yourself also.

Biglar,
If you do not want to deal with the size of the spiderlights, why not try giving diamond plate a thought. A mirror finish, and the little nubs if you will, bounce crazy light patterns in wild directions. Just my .02 worth. Duncan.
