Lighting Help
I have a 65 gal tank with some corals and fish it has been up about 6 months now. I have a satillite lighting system with 2x 65 watt bulbs. My tank size is 48 x 24 deep x 13 wide. What would you recommend for lighting to keep a reef system ?

Re: Lighting Help
I like a T5 system, the benefits of the reduced heat and electrical consumption compared to a MH system was my deciding factor. Also, what type of coral system SPS? LPS? that is also a factor.

Re: Lighting Help
I've always liked MH for a reef application, however never running T-5's, I can't suggest a reason for not using those either. Howevewr with Halides, you get the nice shimmer lines and they can always be used for an upgraded tank in the future (taller).
