how much lighting????? please help

how much lighting????? please help

i have a 150 gallon flat back hex tank.... 2 175 halides 10000k and 4 40watt ho actinics..... is this enough lighting??? i also can put vho's instead of the ho's ...its 22 inches high...25 deep and 60 wide.thanks in advance..bill

Right now, you may have enuf lighting for some mushrooms and other soft corals. What exactly do you look forward to keeping for coral?

i will keep whatever coral i can handle with my system... i will be moving to a bigerhouse in the next year and plan on a bigger tank so for now i will stick with what i got... please give me some more ideas of proper coral to keep with my configuration....thanks a lot

Well, the post above is what I thought, you may be able to get away with some of the lower light LPS also. Do a little bit of research on these types of coral and you will find what fits, I am sure.
You are open to most of the softies, that's for sure. Stay away from any anenomes until you can intensify your lighting.
