i'd say almost anything !
hi, i was wondering if anyone has any insight into what all i can grow in my tank with this light fixture. 4 daylight 10000 k and 4 blue 460 nm actinic bulbs. i have a 4 foot 90 gallon tank. any help would be great! thanks 432 total watts

uhhh...nothing creative coming to mind to fill this space....
Eight 54w HO T5's over a 90-gal tank should provide adequate illumination for most corals and clams if they are positioned appropriately in the tank. With T5 lamps, the use of individual reflectors GREATLY increases the efficiency of each individual lamp. I'm looking at the manufacturer's website and it's difficult to tell but it appears that they are talking about a single German parabolic reflector for the entire fixture rather than individual reflectors for each tube. Is that correct?
Does your Current USA Nova Extreme 8x54 fixture have eight individual reflectors or does it have a single reflector? Individual reflectors are much better.

it looks like one giant single reflector. is there any mods that i could do to it, or just leave it alone? thanks for the help
At this point, I suspect that you will probably have to go with what you have. It is much better to have a fixture that has individual reflectors for each tube. Notice that the Current USA website claims a 99% increase in output due to their German parabolic reflector (singular) but the Sunlight Supply website claims a 300% increase in output due to their German reflectors (plural).
More than one study has been posted online showing that it is true that individual reflectors greatly increase the total output of light reaching the corals compared to the same number of identical T5 tubes in a fixture with a single reflector. I don't know if the difference is as great as claimed by the manufacturer of the Tek-Light fixtures but I know that it is significant.

Not sure if this would work, but the ice cap reflectors clip to the individual bulbs, You could get them and clip them to the bulbs and then install the bulb/reflector combo back into the Nova Fixture.
I was looking around and noticed that the Pro version of the Nova Extreme fixtures have individual reflectors, but do not come with the moon lights.
