I'm going to guess you do as all of these types of lighting need ballasts. Plus, if you click on accessories they list some ballasts there.
Now don't quote me on this and I'm sure others with MUCH more experience in MH lighting will be able to tell you more, but I'm betting you'll need one.

![]() The pendant you listed is a single ended MH ballast, and yes you will need a ballast for that pendant.
