Need Ideas-- Light rails?
Allright ... Heres the issue... I have one ATI powermodule and right now its connected (hung from) a heavy duty drawer sliders, so it can be pushed back and forth from the front to the rear of the tank..
Now I just ordered another powermodule and am thinking that there has to be a better way for 2x 36" 8bulb powermodules (30lbs/ea) to be hung on a slider system. any systems out there i'm not aware of that work?

Re: Need Ideas-- Light rails?
Id be happy to help but I guess Im not understanding your question. What exactly is your intention with sliding or moving the lamps?
Are you moving them so you can get access to the tank? Why not pull them up instead of sliding them back? No clearance? Are you sliding them so that you can get better coverage over the tank? Why not use an automated light mover? Just a few questions and suggestions. Rubisco |

Kyle are you trying to figure out a way to hook them together in one system?

PM reefdoctormicromussas and ask him what he used for his light system. It's extremely heavy but he can slide it with a finger.
