sps corals will grow under metal halides alone?
Hello sharkboy,
Not quite sure what you are after here, do you mean will they grow without actinic supplementation, ie., VHO, T5???? The answer is yes, but I find that most folks who just use Metal haildes, will use something on the bluer end of the spectrum, something like 14K and up.
Hope this is what you were looking for, if not, ask away!!!!!![]()

Yes, they will. Most corals will grow under halides, anything from 6.5K to 20K, how fast they grow, and what color they are depend on what bulb color you choose.
I agree with Mike and Charlie, Im also gonna move your thread to the lighting forum so it will get more exposure there![]()
