Trying to figure out my light wattage per gallon for my aquarium. I have a 72" CustomSeaLife metal halide light. The ballast states 96w 2 lamp and I have two ballasts making 384w. Does anyone know if 384 is indeed the wattage number I would use to figure out the tanks wattage per gallon. CustomSeaLife has gone out of business so I cannot confirm with the company. If anyone can advise it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 72" CustomSeaLife metal halide lighting
As far as the company that you are concerned about;
Re: [APD] Custom Sea Life may be coming backs as CurrentsUSA ? It looks as tho CurrentUSA is handling these now. It looks as tho you have a fixture that has 4 x 96w power compact bulbs, plus what wattage your Metal halides are. Do you have a picture of your lite? If you insist on using the watts per gallon as a measurement, yes, you would use the 384w. HTH |
