That is strange, and it has me totally baffled. Maybe someone smarter than me can get on here. Maybe try to PM Kevin, and see what he might have to offer?????
My refugium light has been out of service for a few days due to a bulb burn out and me being too busy to go get another. Finals are coming. I did get one today though. This fuge light has been on 24/7 for atleast 6 months.
I haven't seen my pH above 8.2 in a long time. The last note I have of 8.3 was January. Normal range for me lately has been 8.1-8.2. The milwaukee probe and meter that I use only reads to one decimal place. The daily swing might be slightly more than I've indicated.
Anyway, for the past two days my pH has been higher. The day before today I saw 8.2-8.3. Today, 48 hours without a photoperiod and I've seen 8.3-8.4.
Just to make sure I re calibrated the probe and it was working fine. I honestly have no idea why I'm seeing this but it seems to be the lack of light in the fuge. Other than the refugium light burning out I have not added nor changed anything in the system. Does anyone have any ideas?
