odyssea replacements

Hello I am wondering if anyone who purchased an odyssea fixture has any expeirence with replacing the reflectors and ballast. I have the 175 w DE bulbs with 2 pc 96w lights. I definately want to replace the ballast and have narrowed it down to two choices. The first choice is ARO 150/175 w electronic ballast from hello lights. The second choice is the 175 w icecap ballast (says it will fire any 175w bulb) I am wanting to see if anyone has made this swap and if they were happy with the resaults or if I should just purchase a totally new fixure.

Also on the reflectors I am not having any luck with finding an exact fit reflector I would be interested in seeing how somoene else took on this challenge.

Thanks for your time I look forward to hearing any feedback.

I have had experience with the ice cap ballast, and that in my eyes is a good choice. Is the ballast an internal ballast? I think it is..........
As far as the reflectors go, if you are going to tear the unit apart to start with, why don't you just DIY something over your system. It is going to be real tough to retro-fit something into an existing unit.
Could you possibly tell us a little bit more about your tank, it is kind of hard to make a recommendation without any dimensions to work with. HTH
