Actually, that was a bad comparison. I went back and reviewed those photos and I think that was when my step up transformer went out and I was then using 300w of PCFs. Here is a shot of the same tank with the 150 dual HQI MHs but from a previous set-up so the 'stuff' is different but will be a more accurate comparison with the lighting.

As for the algae, it is really tough to tell from that pic. I don't think it is hair algae though. |

Well, you were right about the 250s, the acropora are loving them - I've noticed lots of growth already. I'd post some photos but someone broke into our home yesterday and my camera didn't make it. Will start adjusting the photoperiod up a bit.

It is good to hear about the lighting tho, and it is good to hear that you are adjusting your photoperiod, you don't want to shock the little guys!!! |
