Inverts: Coco worm, 2 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, Fire Shrimp, 3 Blue Hermits, Red Hermit, Emerald Crab, Sally Lightfoot Crab, Mexican Turbo, 11 Ceriths, 6 Black Turbos, 10 Nassarius, Bumble Bee, Astrea.
Corals: Frogspawn, 3 Mushroom, Australian Acan, Blastomussa, Zoanthid, Red & Orange Carnation, Blue Tree Fan.
Are the bulbs the same brand?
Yes. 2 of the same lighting kits. Just guessing but I'd say the original ones are at about 50% brightness compared to the new set. May improve when I clean it this weekend.

Up to 18 months. I change mine every 12 months personally.
What is the difference between HO and VHO T5's besides price?
VHO= IceCap ballasts.
HO= Everything else.
So, are ice caps worth the extra money? Why? They last longer? What else?
Mike, don't Ice Cap ballasts overdrive the T5 bulbs a bit?

Yes, they do. That is why they call them VHO T5.
IceCap ballasts get you more PAR, but shorter bulb life. I run my overdriven bulbs for 12 months, where they would last 18 to 24 on a "regular" ballast.
