Lighting to good to be true?

Is anyone familiar with an outfit called aquatraders? They appear to have some killer deals on Metal Halide fixtures with Compact Florescents and Leds. I have been out of the hobby for a while and am trying to put together a 125 gallon reef system and saw an add for these guys in Aquarium Magazine. Their pricing seems to good to be true. Any body know if this company is legite? How can anyone offer 250 watt HQI double ended lamps for under $20.00? Seems like every body else sells these type of lamps in the $60.00 range. I saw a 72 inch fixture on their websit for under $600.00 with three 250 watt metal halides and 4-96 watt power compacts and leds. How can that be possible?

    Hi doctor,

I believe Aquatraders specialize in Odyssea fixtures. Very, very cheap stuff, if you know what I mean.

    Good luck!

    Don't forget, caveat emptor!
