    28 gallon bowfront light help

I have set up a 28 gallon bow i am trying to make a reef tank. I am currently running a coralife 50/50 single 18 inch bulb over it. i have a 150 watt viper hang on halide light but i dont think it looks as good as my 50/50 light. I have been looking into the t5 ho lights but i dont really want to spend that much right now. Anyone suggest some t5's thatll make my coral grow and make my coraline algae explode and make everything purple ?

What is the width of the tank, front to back?

As far as making your coral grow and coralline algae, only time and patience, good water quality, good water parameters....... just to name a few. I would think 3-4, 2', T5 bulbs with individual reflectors would do nicely, again depending on the width. The color of the bulbs would all be personal preference. HTH

that's quite a bit to spend, when you said you didnt have much :P
I picked up an oddysea PC fixture. Fantastic, 130 watts, Moonlights, $90 shipped. Has served me very well so far.
