Help me choose what color PC bulbs...

See, what I'm planning to do is a DIY mod to an Eclipse hood (www.inlandreef.com/eclipse.html) and it calls for two 28w bulbs.
I have everything to do the mod except the bulbs...I need input on which ones...
10k, 6700k, "03" actinic, "half actinic, halk 10k" bulb?

I'm either going to go with the 10k/6700k and "03" actinic...need input...

the half & half would give you both a 10k and actinc with a good dispertion of light (you would have 10k-03-10k-03-10k, instead of just 10k-03). thats what i would do (and have but on a 55 watt scale).

what is the price difference. if it is a lot, then just go with one 10k and one 03?

Anyone else?

The price difference is only 3 bucks. But what color does it give the tank? I was heavily leaning towards 6700k and 03 actinic, but I will take more suggestions...

OK, i looked at my tank (i have the smartlamps), and it is a nice crisp white color. I like it, it is not extremely blue and not yellow at all. HTH

Ok I have been looking and looking at everything, and only found a couple of places that sell 28w PC bulbs (www.lampsnow.com , www.inlandreef.com). I also have a Smartlight retro on a diff tank and yes i do like it, however I'm not sure if it would fit because it is 32w. I can't get a 8800k or at least I haven't found one in 28w.

It looks like the majority of the ppl here like the smartlight (as do I) so, I'll most likely get 1 10k bulb and one 03 actinic witch is what the smartlite is (actually as per csl website the actinic portion is 7100k, but, i don't think it will matter if I swap those two actinics, do you?)
