Well its confirmed the "negotiation" w/ my parents worked as i figured it would i knew my parents couldnt afford another payment on a computer so they both jumped on this one the second they heard it. here is what i will get for my end of the deal.....6 gallon eclipse bowfront tank. if the 2X13w. would work better over a 7gal bowfront let me know i am sure i could substitute 1 gal. i get as much live sand as i see fit. i have left over rock that is very dead but the live sand will seed the rock soon enough i'm sure. i get 2 white bulbs which are like 7 bucks, and 2 actinic bulbs which are like 5 bux apeice. i also get a coral of my choosing....i tossed that in there just to make it a little more fair on my part

what i need to know is how can i hook up these lights over this tank and make it look nice and neat. if i bring this to my dorm and my RA sees wires hanging too and fro he's gonna say no can do sonny boy. but if it looks professional and safe he'll have no problem. luckily fish are the only pets allowed in my dorm so i'm safe there. i know this is the lighting section but...i'm about to add a few details to my post moderators move it if you think it'd be better off somewhere else.....but......a)is there a way to make my lights fit into the hood that comes w/ the eclipse 6? b)if not how much do you think it'd cost to have someone make me one so that it would fit? c) totally off lighting.....what would you use for current? i've got a maxijet 201 sitting around that i could use do you think that'd be efficient? thanks for the help.
