That is an awful lot of halides stacked into a small fixture!!!! Did you search back on your previous threads????
Hello all-
I'm looking to upgrade my lights soon, but I have forgotten the brand of the light fixture I was looking at. Here are the specs, hopefully it'll jog someone's memory.
-4ft system
-2 x 250w MH at ends (10k standard)
-1 x 150w MH in middle (20k standard)
I liked this system b/c the MH bulbs will have a longer useable life with my tank than T5 bulbs, and I'd like shimmer lines during sunrise/sunset times.

That was probably Aqua Medic. I had an Aqua Medic Aquastarlight fixture with two 250w HQI 10,000K and a 25w blue moonlight in the middle. Then later on they offered a 48" (120cm) fixture with two 250w HQI 10,000K metal halides and a 150w HQI 20,000K in the middle. They also offered the 6-ft (180cm) size with three 250w HQI 10,000K and two 150w HQI 20,000K between them.
They also made an Aquaspacelight and an Aquasunlight NG. I know that the Aquasunlight NG is still being made because it's their top-of-the-line fixture but I'm not so sure about the Aquastarlight or Aquaspacelight. They sort of switched over to using T5's as actinic supplementation with their 250w HQI 10,000K lamps in their newer fixtures. That Aquasunlight NG uses T5's with the 10,000K HQI halides.
I just now checked the most popular US vendors and I couldn't find anyone offering an Aqua Medic fixture with two 250w HQI 10,000K and one 150w HQI 20,000K. Maybe they don't make it anymore?
Aqua-Medic's US website is Aqua Medic and their German website is Aqua-Medic GmbH .

Yeah, I had searched back, but I don't post in lighting too often so it was a short list...
I thought it might have been Aquamedic, and it would make sense if it's not in production any more. I guess I'll search eBay and poke around for a while- I liked it because of that particular set-up, and yeah, it's a lot of light! I could mount it higher above my tank and get some great reflections off the walls...
BTW, tank's going well and humming along, been busy changing lots of diapers at my house.
