Actinics do provide a certain color spectrum for the corals.

Hello!
I want to start a 33 gal reef tank. I'm thinking to buy a 4x24 T5 HO fixture.
Will it be ok? I want it to be enough for anything but SPS corals.
What color temperature should I have for the bulbs? I've been reading that actinic bulbs are not really necessary for the corals and that they are actually not that good in providing the right PAR for them. Is that true?
Thanks!
