    Help light burnt out

Got home today and my light has burnt out. It's a 10,000k 36 watt lamp. What kind of lighting should I put in there? The same or something better?

Never had to replace a light so should I upgrade or do anything else?

Also what should I do about lighting for the time being?

Did your light burn out or just the bulb?

I belive the light? Its just two long white tubes with striaght pins at the end to plug into the hood. It's a bio cube light.

just get another one.... and you should write the date on the new ones and replace them on schedule before they burnout... you bulbs loose power and it does less for you tank and is hard on your ballast...you could end up replacing that if you strain it with bad bulbs. (replace them 6-12 months depending on the quality and how much you run the light / you might get 12 mo if they only run 10hrs a day)
