PC bulb replacement 4 50/50s or 2 10k and atinics

So i need to replace my bulbs in my coralife pc fixture and was wondering if it is better to do 4 50/50 bulbs or 2 10/12k and 2 atinics.

    Right now i have 2 and 2.

Full reef 55 lps and sps(2 small frags)

The 50/50 are more expensive right? You'll definitely want to go with those. (I'm being a smarta@@) That's between 100 and 120 no matter which way you go. You may want to apply the money toward a new T5HO fixture instead. They put out more light per watt and I wouldn't think the PC's would be enough for most SPS in any event.

I plan on doing a MH set up to my existing set up. I was just wondering if there is a difference?

Having seperate actinics means you would be able to run the actinics on a longer time cycle and have the 10K's on a shorter one to simulate the dawn/noon/dusk effect. If you did the 50/50's you couldn't really do that, though you could just run one set and it would sort of simulate and well, you now sorta do the same thing but not really but kinda.
But just so you know, unless you have a really deep tank, you don't need metal halides, T5HO puts out plenty of light and is much more efficient. The bulbs run cool and last a lot longer.

After I posted that last message I realized that by looking at the lights. I am going to change the bulbs to 2 and 2.

I am upgrading to MH in a DiY system because I am upgrading to a 130.
