power brights

so, while this site was unaccessable, i browsed other sites and found a thread of ppl ranting and raving about power brights from current. anyone have an opinion on them?

so nobody has any comments? the pics ive seen of them in use are stunning! i just want to talk to peeps that have used or seen them in person......no body?

I've never seen them in use, but they don't put out a lot of light according to the specs. If you want something that puts out light Pre-Order for MaxSpect G2 Aquarium Led Light LCK LED STORE - PROFFESIONAL LED & LED PRODUCTS SUPPLIER. I read that they fixed the fan problem (way too much noise) with the G2 series. Also, if you're a do it yourselfer, check out the power LED section on that website, the 100W BigBee is mighty intriguing. 6500K with 8000 to 9000 lumens! It would need a reflector though as its spread is 140 degrees.

i just checked out the link....that looks like a sound piece of equipment!...even the other models they have are pretty impressive. i preordered the bigbee, but while im waiting i think im still gonna check out a few of the power brights...then ill have something for the little nano im gonna put in my store this summer...thanks for the lead!

Wow, taking the LED plunge! I really like the looks and price of the Maxspect, but I don't like the shipping (it comes from China). What was the shipping estimate on the Bigbee? Two of those as the main lighting on my 90 would be pretty nice.
