LED Lights for my new 180 Gallon Tank?

Ok I have to buy new lighting for my new tank and would go MH but I like the idea of the LEDs especially with the heat. I really don't want to have and invest into a chiller.

Does anyone know of good hood to buy that is LED based to replace MH.

And since it seems to have a mixture of blues and whites, does this mean you dont need actinic?

Most of the led lites I have seen are way too expensive for my taste, and until Mr. Sanjay Joshi can tell me that they are effective, I will stay with halides or T5. JMHO

Do you think you absolutely need a chiller if I go with the MH lights? I am going to start with 250w

I have run halides for close to 6-7 years and never had a chiller. I use fans in the summertime, but never a chiller.

My lites are about 12-13" off the water. I have a fan on the sump and a fan on the refugium.
