I bought the odyssea T5HO 4 lamp light fixture and it seems to work good so far. There have been some horror stories in the past about them setting on fire, but i dont think thats an issue anymore. There are different companies that will assemble these lights and the lights are generally not of the best quality. The fixture I bought was $200 less than the more reputable brand. Got my T5HO x4 "professional" light fixture through aquatraders(dotcom) and worked great, until i dropped them into the water. So I ordered another set from them, but ordered the "advanced" fix. b/c the pro model was out of stock. When the new fix arrived, all of the bulbs were broken and a wire from one of the fans was loose. The bulbs were installed prior to shipping. on the first order, bulbs were shipped separate with no problems. Had to take the thing apart and clean all the glass. the fan wire was an easy fix. These two fixtures were my first lights ever, so I cannot compare them to other brands, however they do seem to be fairly cheap. I prolly wont upgrade for awhile, so the cheap lights will have to do for me. If youre gonna go with this brand, choose the professional version with built-in timer. With this brand, you get what you pay for...
Hope this give you an idea.....
good luck..
