Received Lights...Have a question

Well I received my Dual 400w PFO Ballast, 2 6500k Iwasaki bulbs, and 2 Spider light reflectors. The reflectors came with mogul socket, and PFO quick disconnect. The mogul socket has a black wire and a white wire. The quick disconnect cord has a black, white, and a green wire. I used wire nuts to connect the black to black and the white to white, but what do I do with the green wire? Do I just attach it to the reflector somewhere?

Also, are wire nuts fine, or should I solder the wires and wrap them in electrical tape?

yes some come with screw holes on the socket to put the green wire to. just attach it to anything metal on the socket.
