Question i want to get t5 lighting

i currently have coralife 36" PC lighting and I'm not getting great growth.
I'd like to upgrade to t5 lighting but I really have no knowledge about lighting. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good 36" t5 lighting set up???

(try to keep the price reasonable)

I don't know what you mean by "reasonable."

Just go through this list. It starts out with DIY components and then it lists various T5 fixture manufacturers. Pick out something in a 36" setup that you think is "reasonable."

    T5
    T5 Components
    Sunlight T5's
    Finnex-T5
    CurrentUSA
    AquaMedic T5's
    IceCap T5 Retro
    UV Lighting T5's
    Helios T5's
    Aquactinics T5
    ATI T5's
    Giesemann T5's
    Korallen-zucht T5's
    Aqua Science T5's
    General Electric T5s
    Aquatic Life
    Hamilton T5
    IceCap T5 Lamps
    Zoo Med T8 Lamps
    Wavepoint T5s
    IceCap T5 Hoods
    ZooMed T5s
    Deep Blue T5's

For example, this one's only $204.99. It has four 39w T5s in individual reflectors. A lot of people have been buying that brand lately if they want an inexpensive fixture. I really don't know much about it but I think everything under that brand is being imported from China.

I have the 48 inch ver. of the one Ninong linked you to, I'm very pleased with the light, and it looks great over the tank, the bulbs will run between 20 - 30 bucks apiece when it's time to replace, way cheaper than the pc bulbs you're running now, I upgraded for a 36 in coralife pc fixture to my T-5 back in July, glad I did, noticed a diff. in my power bill as well

im using 2 4bulb novas and like them alot. most lights you will buy in the more affordable line will sometimes come with cheaper bulbs but they can always be upgraded. i think one of the most important parts of choosing the fixture is to make sure it has cooling fans so that you dont mess up the temp of the tank. lights that run cooler also give more par if i remember correctly
