I hadn't seen this product before...looks pretty slick. I agree, you will need one more to get full coverage over your tank, or you could just keep all of your corals in the center 18" sweet spot. I'd be curious about the optional lighting controller, and whether or not it can control multiple fixtures. I would love to have a 2 channel dimmable light to simulate sunset, sunrise, cloud cover, storms, etc...
I'd also be curious if you can use the controller for the blues to simulate lunar cycles?

    Did you pay around $300?

    hi fin
i paid 224 for it with no controller not sure what the controller controls
would be great if as you said it could simulate effects like full moon etc mabe oneday eh
have had to order some rails for it to hang on which are about 15 quid each because is hanging off two bamboo poles at mo
but im still very pleased with it and cant wait to get another one at some point and mabe try some hard corals

Didn't notice you were from across the pond till I read your response, so that would explain the price difference. When I googled this product, I found that they do make a nice controller that will allow you to automate photoperiods with and dimming as an option to simulate mornings/evenings, etc... the whites and blues can be controlled independantly...nice!

Any update on the LED lighting? I'm looking to upgrade my lighting and am not sure whether to go with MH or LED.

    Thanks

I read somewhere that if you dim your LEDs it drastically shortens their lifespan. Before you invest in a controller do some more research. Happy Reefing

hi there have not yet got round to buying led control unit love the led unit still want another think this is the way forward for lighting to go for all the reasons they boast about but probably the best reason is the much reduced heat given off and low electricity usage hope this helps you out

I was wondering if you got this fixture on ebay or a fixed web site.
If so, would you kindly state the site you purchased this?

Looking to get this unit if price is what you paid.

    thx a bunch.
