Question on lighting to use

I'm getting a new tank. 30 x 30 x 24 cube tank. I'm try to figure out what the best light setup to get. I've been using T5 lights for some time. But with this cube I was thinking maybe a 400watt MH would be better.

Looking for suggestions on what to use.

hi Shaggyboiler ; Check out the new Cannon and Par38s LEDs this will save you alot in electicity in the long run.... check u-tube Happy Light Huntig!!!!!

Your plan sounds great, 24" is pretty deep and LED are not quite there yet. 400w would be perfect, but, you will need and want some supplemental actinics, perhaps LED would be good for this.
