Can the fans on the ATI Powermodule be put on a timer so they dont have to be running while the lights are off? I thought I could time them to go on with the lights..

Sure can. I'm going to set mine up so the fan is tied in with the two lamp plug which will come on first and go off last.
Thats good. Thanks for the reply.
Sure is a nice fixture, I put it up last night.
After slowly lowering the fixture (to acclimate corals) what do you think is the best height to keep the fixture?
I have it set to 20" above the tank. I was wondering about acclimating my corals. I have mostly softies. A bubble coral, a frogspawn, a zoanthid, a fiji leather, a monti and some others I dont even know, some kind of tree.
The tank is a 75 gal and is 48"WX18"DX20"H.
Mine is not up and running yet, but 20" seams very high to me. Most guys, from many threads I've read, end up about 4 to 6 inches above the tanks water line. I'll probably start mine out at about 10 and move it down to around 6.
My 6 bulb+2 LED tube fixture sits a few inches from the top of the tank.

I should have added that I have it 20" because I am going to gradually lower it so as to acclimate my corals. I agree that a final height should be ~6-8"
My mistake... Wasn't paying attention.
