I don't know anything about them but for those prices, they better up there with sliced bread and sporks if you know what I mean.

before you buy those check out SWC in Winnipeg Manitoba here's the link
SWC Xtreme Cree LED60 watt Light [SWC Xtreme 60 watt CREE led] - $399.99 : SWC - Salt Water Connection, Protein Skimmers, Calcium Reactors, Filters & Lights
I have seen these lights in action, they are absolutly the best. I will be saving hardcore so i can get a set myself. The thing i like is that you can dim them seperatly white and blue so you can adjust the light spectrum to a "T". If you but these lights tell Jason that Walter from New Bothwell Manitoba sent you to him.
P.S. the owner Jason uses these lights on his personal tank he has at home!!

For anyone local, one of my reef club sponsors has these available in San Jose. Same thing, just without the SWC name on it.

I'm actually pretty excited about this fixture. Could be the one. Er, the two.

FIN, they look similar but whats the price tag no them? If you check out tb aquatics they have them on sale now for 359$ thats the SWC ones so thats a pretty smok'n price.

Not sure, it isn't published, but had the Owner on chat last night and he said he would do it at a lower Price point than SWCs regular price of 399. Plus, for me, shipping isn't needed cause he's close.

Wow that sounds good, once you get a definite price please let me know. Also does this light come with a dimmer controller?
Chavez
Yes, there is a manual 2 channel dimmer included.
I didn't press for an exact price as I'm not ready to part with that much scratch just year. I'd new two of these for the next build I have planned, but I'm not really there yet.
You could email him though and maybe mention a NVR member referred you. Don't know if that's worth a few bucks off or not, but it might be if he knows you're sold on it and just shopping for the best price.

those are very nice but only 120 watts for almost a 1,000. Check out DHgate.com its a wholesale site i got my reef led lights for my 38g. i got two 120 watt led with independant blue and white switches that are very nice. i paid 500 with shipping for 2... check it out its all about the watts still even though they put out more "correct" light for the corals. My tank absolutely loves them and all my friends are jealous. haha
Not for me, thanks.

OH WOW another scam, that,s sad!Fin before i seen your post about the scam i did the math and it would have cost me more to get the proper amount of lighting from DHGATE then the SWC brand so either way i would have never got the DHGATE ones.
P.S. thanks for posting about the scam good for people to know about before they drop their money!!![]()

watch out with LEDs most companies are using 6500k white LEDs instead and offsetting them with lots of blue to get the PAR and color more normal to what we expect. I don't like so much blue.
Here is a good comparison against MH. Check out the video halfway down.

The big day arrived,i finally installed my new SWC extreme LED's they are awesome!! I'm still testing different heights to see what corals like best. In the first couple of days i noticed my fish are more relaxed and corals colors are better and my nem is getting it's tentacles back so it does look like i made a good choice! I still don't have any pics but will be posting them soon.
