    Coralife Lunar T5HO Lights

I started out with a FOWLR tank and want to turn it into a reef tank. I have been reading around the forums for opinion on lighting and I'm gonna go with T5HO.

    I came across this fixture

Coralife Lunar Aqualight T5 Lamp High Output Fixture

I mostly want to have Xenia, Frogspawn, Anenome, Zoanthids.... mostly the easy stuff would this Coralife T5HO work well in that situation?

    My tank:

    -40 Gallon (built in overflow)
-The tank is about 18inch tall and approx 3ft long.

Also plan to grow Zoanthids on the sand, would this light provide enough energy for that purpose?

I think that would be a fine choice for what you want to do.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

    I agree.

Just to be clear though, anemones aren't considered "easy stuff". Even the easiest species (E. Quadricolor) requires more than just good lighting and are considered difficult to care for. Anemones in general have a very poor success rate in the hobby but can live over a century in the wild. Be sure to do plenty of research before getting one so you can be better prepared to care for it. just food for thought...
