    Exclamation Reef LED Help

I'm have a 32 gallon reef tank and I'm currently running have compact fluorescent flighting and I'm getting about 130 watts. I need to change my bulbs out already but I was looking into getting LED's for my tank. The dimensions are 30'' length, 12'' width, and 21'' height. I heard that LED's are better and much cheaper to run but they do cost more. I wanted to know if I still needed to get 130 watts or if I only need lets just say half of that amount. I was also interested in doing a DIY setup if it would come out cheaper. I currently have a bunch of soft corals in my tank I eventually wanted to move into hard corals. Thanks.

    Re: Reef LED Help

The guys that I talked with were utilizing the same amount of watts for LED as they were another lamp. But, LED are still much cheaper to run than the others. But use the 3watt LED's don't go with unit that only has the 1watters in it.
