    20g Lighting

Stupid cheap 20in fixture isn't working properly. Had 2 10,000k daylights 36w and a 36w actinic blue but it isn't working properly. Tank has a few shrimp, cleaning crew and a couple clowns in it. Currently the 10,000k daylight burnt out and I need ideas for a new fixture that it also 19-20in long. Kind of an awkward length. Any ideas?

Willing to upgrade to LED or MH but T-5 lighting should be fine for this tank as no corals. Any suggestions?
    Best of luck,
    Matt

If you're not going to get into corals or other light demanding animals (anemones or otherwise), you could get the Marinland Double Bright or Reef Capable LED light fixtures. The support legs are adjustable to different tank lengths. The smallest fixture is 18"-24".

Tank is a bit small for most corals and nems, but I'd rather be prepared with appropriate lighting if I need to eventually use it as a QT tank or even if I want to house a few smaller corals in the future.

Any recommendations for a lighting upgrade that could house corals and nems if needed?
    Best of luck,
    Matt

MH pendants seem to be pretty popular for nano reefs. Just remember, heat will probably be an issue. I cant be of much help on which brands/ models to look into (I don't have a nano) but there are a few guys here who should be of better help.

Ended up going with the Marineland LED Reef Capable 18-24in. Figure that an LED upgrade would be beneficial and the price was right on it. It is a FOWLR tank so I figure this is a good upgrade.

Anyone disagree? Still haven't paid so anyone that can add in their two cents should!!
    Best of luck,
    Matt
