    LED for a FOWLR

I know lighting isn't that important for a FOWLR tank.

But I love the super bright crisp look of LED's on peoples tanks.

I know people go crazy over lights for their corals, but I won't have any.

    So my question is.

Is there a cheap LED alternative for just the super white look on a tank 72" long? and 18" deep?

I started to look at screwin LED bulbs but those are expensive too.

Anyone know any alternative to achieve this Super bright white, or even cheap LED routes?

    Thanks!

I guess you'd have to give us an idea of what you think is cheap. LED's in any fixture are not cheap in my opinion, for a 72" unit.

    I'm hoping under $200

I use to work for an automotive parts store and we use to sell LED accessories for everything. They were bright and cheap. I don't understand how all of a sudden you use them for an aquarium and they are expensive. Almost feel like going to the dollar store and buying those stick on leds that when you press down they light up and glue a bunch of those to a light fixture! lol

Thanks for the links. You think that 48" will lights up a 72" aquarium?

Also are you laughing at me or with me lol?

    Was laughing with you.
And you just wanted the LED's for a fish only tank. Right? No, figure you could use 2 of them.
