    UV emitting LED pendant 120W 14K and 460NM/420NM

    How much better is the light I am getting than the one I already have? Is it : WAY BETTER, BETTER, BETTER-SAME, or SAME Sorry, I do not know much about lighting. Thank you for any replies

    I am getting 2 UV emitting LED pendant 120W 14K and 460NM/420NM to cover a 100g reef aquarium. 48" x 24" x 20". (I am getting 2 because only one light won't cover the tank lengh-wise)
    Features:
    * 120 bulbs with {440NM/460NM : 14K ratio} 25% 460NM (Pure Blue), 25% 440 (Purplish) 50% 14K. This ratio gives you added color without sacrificing the crucial daylight spectrums for growth.
    * NEW Built-in UV Rays emitters specially designed for SPS corals.
    * Matches a 250W Radium Metal Halide bulb in LUX, Lumens and PAR.
    * Newer generation 120 Degree light spread that can cover up to 27" (L) x 27" (W) x 30" (H).

    * 2 Manual switches and 2 separate cords for timers and manual settings.

    I currently have the one 48" Long Complete LED light system W/R/C controls.
    Features:
    Light output: 13000LUX/Fc @6" and is equal in PAR and Lumens to 150W HQI lighting in total spread of 48" x 12".
    * Full length 48".
    *Individual reflectors and lense in each bulbs.
    * 2 independent full dimming controls With Remote control.
    * Uses only 90W of power and emits low to Zero heat to the reef.
    *Color controls from 10K up to Pure blue 460nm.
    * Great for a full range of LPS and SPS corals in aquariums up to 16" - 24" in height.
    * Durable tank mounts, ceiling suspension set included

    Well, in regards to lighting flat out, the one you are buying has much more light period. For the obvious, it has 30 more watts, thats big on LED terms. Also, the new one has more PAR, Lumen output than your current set up. This will allow you to keep ALL CORALS. Whereas, your current one may not be suitable for some SPS. In a nut shell, they are pretty close. So I put it in the Better catagory.

    Would the new UV emitting LED light also act as a UV sterilizer? I didn't really read about UV sterilizers :0
