    Lighting Plan for a 90G

Assuming a 48 inch long, std 90 gallon tank, I took some time to spec out a good lighting plan for my next tank. I really like the ecoxotic panorama setup. I plan on using the following setup, on each side of the mid bar:

2x: Ecoxotic Panorama 12W 8000K/453nm Blue LED Module w/ Transformer
2x: Ecoxotic Panorama 12W 8000K White LED Module w/ Transformer
1x: Ecoxotic Panorama 12W 453nm Blue LED Module w/ Transformer
    1x: Stunner or moonlight

That'll give me 120 LEDs spread over the white / blue spectrum with a stunner or moonlight for night effect.

What do you all think? Will this be enough light for my LPS, softies and a few SPS.

Re: Lighting Plan for a 90G

I am a little confused on this. I don't want too much light but I don't want to underwhelm the corals as well. Can someone give me an opinion?

Here are the two ideas I specked out:

I like the first one better. From the tanks that I've seen with LED, when they had equal amount of blue and white, the tanks looked very blue, I didn't like that much blue. I'm used to 14k lighting, those looked more like 24k.

You don't think it's too much light though?

Nope. It doesn't have a dimmer on it I take it? You;ll have to acclimate your inhabitants to the new lighting though, or your liable to burn everything up.

Hey Chris. Any way to get a hold of the spectral graph of each fixture. It would be interestign to compare the actual graph to a graph of natural sunlight. From what I understand, high amounts of perticular spectrums can cause more damage to corals than high amounts of PAR (relatively speaking, of course).
