question for icecap 660 user

I am planning to use it for 4 X 48" VHO setup. It is 440 Watt total and I think it may stress the inhabitants if they turn on all at the same time. Are you guys using a dimmer for this ballast? Which one are u using?

I have the same setup over a 55 and don't use a dimmer. Might be nice, but I don't think its needed. They are a little pricey for the benefit. Especially when I have seen no detrimental effects of the Icecap "insta-light"
