Dunno but IC ballast are nice but I would get a 660 for @$20 more. You will have more power= better buy ime
Hello All! Will a ice cap 430 power 3 55W PC's and a single 60" 140W VHO?
They say it will run power compacts, and vho, up to 320 Watts. What I want is only 305 watts. Can you run PC and VHO?
How will this be on my energy bill? I was originally planning on using 2 A&H ballasts I already have, and an ice cap 430 to power the VHO. Using the ice cap to push the 3 x 55W PC's eliminates using the 2 A&H ballasts. Running one ballast for everything or 3 ballasts for everything, would they still use the same amount of juice? They are still drawing the same amount of watts right?
Thanks ALL!

don't need extra power. The unit is used so the price is not an issue.
Thanks Though![]()

getting a deal for a used one is one thing but if I were buying new I would get 660. IME most ppl always want more lighting later. Sometimes even less and the 660 can use alot of vho = less if you aren't using halides. But a deal is much better. I belive you will be happy with the 430 but FWIW you can just ask IC for the most accurate answer.
Thanks Iron
My tank is a 125. I am going to be using 3 250W MH, 2 x 55W PC Atinic, 1 x 36W PC atinic, 1 x 60" 140W VHO, and possibly down the road 3 x 55PC whites.
So, the ice cap ballast is really nothing more than atinic support.
Thanks Again!
