Hood for a 72 gal bow front?

ok, how in the 7th layer of you know where can this be done? I want a full hood with a bowed front. is this possible to do? without having to part with my arms and legs? also what lighting set-up should I look into? I want to be able to keep a clam or two, as well as some advanced coral.

You can't really find them pre-made. Best bet would be to talk to a local cabinet shop, or give Reefland an e-mail. I am sure he could help you out.

I was thinking about going to our buddy scott, because I do not feel like going through the whole ordeal again (my measurements are ALWAYS WRONG!!)

The one thing holding me back from ordering from scott is this: The curved bow on the bowfront, wouldnt each tank be different, I mean the size of the curve... If not I will order from reefy

Bowfronts are standard. There may be a slight variation, but nothing that prohibits a lid from fitting. Just to throw in another option, you may look into an ABS hood.

There is a company that makes bow front canopies and corner ones too. And they dont cost an arm and a leg. It can be done. Check out www.aquarium-stands.com you can find what you want there.

Neal...

I'd be interested in that price too....I might even be able to drive down to Richmond to pick it up (from Northern VA).

Thanks much!
