3 MH's over a 120g and HEAT removal
I am wanting to put a third MH over my 120g tank, currently I have two 250w HQI pendants, the third light will be a 250w Iwasaki pendant. The tank runs 78-82 now in the summertime. I keep the house at 70 degrees, but this 8x10 room is always 78-80 degrees due to the aquarium, eqpt, and computer, etc. I do have a ceiling fan on high all the time. Is there any way to control the temps, short of a chiller??? Thanks,
nanook

you could try setting up a large fan blowing air in the room. You keep the house temp at 70 during the summer? Must cost a fortune.

Electricity is pretty reasonable in Missouri, I pay $.06 most of the year and $.08 in the summer months. My bill last couple months was about $225 each month, that is with the 120g going with pumps, lights, powerheads etc, plus 220w of PC's over a 110g planted tank.
The fan blowing in the room is a good idea. Thanks Golfish! nanook
