Lights over my 150

OK, keep in mind I have a 400w advance ballast sitting in my closet....

I have a 150g FO that I want to SLOWLY convert to a FOWLR, then a full blown reef. I have major concerns about heat. The tank is in my living room, and I really don't like to run the AC 24/7.

I need some lighting options.

I will be constructing the hood myself. Either a full enclosing hood, or a suspended horizontal pendant style one.

I was thinking 2 or 3 175 MH bulbs, but when it goes full reef I'll need more light. Should I get another 400w ballast and just go that route?

How many actinic PCs will I need to compliment 2 400w Iwasaki bulbs?
