    lighting a 90g...

    Hi,

I have a 90g oceanic and a bunch of pc retros (I can get them for very cheap). I was going to put 8-36w bulbs and 4-55w bulbs in the canopy. I was wondering whether that would be enough light. I have access to two more 32w retros, but I don't know if they will fit.

    What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    Smile Hi AQman!

What inhabitants you planning to have? You should be fine with all those PC's for softies and some LPS maybe, but I definately would throw the notion of SPS and/or clams out the window.....Even LPS might be tricky under PC's. I have heard of ppl growing SPS under NO lighting but that doesnt mean they are healthy! Just my opinion another thing to consider is heat and amperage draw (im no EE though) on all those PC's versus something like only 1 or 2 MH's
