46.5" or 48" VHO - How big are end caps?
I have exactly 48 5/8" of space to work with between the left and right sides of my canopy. How much space to endcaps take up? Should I be using the 46.5" URI bulbs or the 48"?

46.5. The endcaps that work the best for the VHO's are the large ones similar to the picture below. If you were using NO then you could use the waterproof endcaps which take up less space.

well the end caps dont take that much room. maybe an inch tops. remember you have to slide the bulb into the end caps like an inch/

I would use the 46.5's. That way your sure to fit them in without having to modify your canopy .
