ordering bulbs,wheres the cheapest right now?
so far reeffanatic is in the lead ,but i wanted to check with you guys .i need 2 175w 10k ushios,a 400w 6.5 k iwasaki,and two 4' vho actinics(i cant order just 2 can i?.i can get them locally if thats the case).tia

IMO this place is the PA of lights. I have NEVER had a problem with these folks. I give them 2 thumbs and 2 toes up.

I ordered 4x55 watt 03 bulbs last week form them, they arrived two days later...I don't really care too much for the 03 bulbs but then it takes a lot to please me

i agree with the 03 pc's they suck. i switched to them, then switched back to the blues. now im just going vho instead.

I like the look of the o3's but have noticed they don't seem to last very long i think i replace them about every 5-6 months. now..I need to order a new one already just procrastinating..lampsnow has been great though..

well,my first exp. with lampsnow is starting off not so great
 i received confirmation of my order yesterday,and now i just got home,and they are saying they dont have my bulbs they wont have the 175w 10 ks until tuesday,and the vho's wont be in till next friday |

update on my order .......................
so i finally received the last two 10k bulbs on thursday and one is a dud,it stutters,then stabilizes at a dimm level for about 20 seconds and then dies
so right away i e-mailed lamps now about the problem,and i have yet to hear from them .have any of you received a bad bulb from lamps now?how did they handle it?to this point ,im unsatisfied with these guy's,it took way too long to get my bulbs,and now this. |

well they dont make the blbs, they just sell them. i ordered from them i had my vho ballast and bulbs the next day.

i dont give a rats a$$ who made it ,they sold it to me,and have so far wasted a day and half not even replying to me,poor customer service imo.its not their fault that it doesnt work,but they should be a little more prompt about it,especially since ive waited so long to begin with.im gonna try and call direct.

well i guess they are only there to take calls m-f,but i cant even leave a message,their "mailbox" is full
class outfit their running eh i better have word from them by the end of monday,or ill go on a never ending crusade to flame them on every board /newsgroup i can find |

every fish store online is only open on business days. they can only ship on these days. im sure monday they will take care of it. you dont start a business by screwing people.

im just very near to complete(something thats almost unbeilevable to me at this point, its been such a long process)and i dont want any hold ups. bottom line,really why i posted, i wanted to hear from someone whos been thru this with them ,and how it was handled. i want my bulb,like last week  |
