can i pull off lighting my 76inch long 120 gallon tank with 2 250watt iwasaki's and two 140watt vho's? im trying sps. but in turn im also trying to keep my electric bill the same or close. im trying to sell my 400's and run 2 250's.

That size tank would be so much better with three metal halide lamps and 160w (6-ft) VHO lamps instead of 140w (5-ft) VHO lamps.
However, the people who make the Spider-lite reflectors claim that you can cover a 72" long tank with only two metal halides. Your tank is 76" long??? What are the other dimensions--how wide and how tall? Ninong |
