i am soon going to try.. i just bought a 6ft long tank but would like to use my existing 2 400 watt system. so if youve got time i can tell you if they work or not.
Spider Light claims you only need 2 MH a 6ft tank with their Spider Light Reflectors. Any one doing this and have any comments and or recomendations?

Thats what I have done. I have a 125 aga . I like the look but I can see the shadow from the center brace. In my case a third MH would look better I think. Sorry the pic is so big.

Hmmmm......I didn't realize that the AGA tanks had a wide center brace as with the OCEANIC(s).I have a 125 aga . I like the look but I can see the shadow from the center brace
Most 250watt 10000K MH(s) lamps have a coverage of 2' x 2' x 2', also depending on distance from the waterline. Therefore a 6' long tank would need at the least 3 lamps.

isnt the center brace on aga's plastic.
i ordered a spiderlight reflector and it will be here tommorrow.i made some reflectors, but im going to compare and see if it is worth ordering 2 more(ill have three halides over my tank)
im gonna try 2 on my 125. im hoping. my center brace is acctually two small glass peices instead of one huge one.
On a 125 aga tank there are 2 small plastic braces. It divides the tank into thirds. I agree 3 mh would look better .
