Really bright! yours too?
Hi All,
Just bought a Hamilton hood w/ 2-400watt 20k's and 2-110 watt vho's atinics' for my 80 gal sps tank. AND a 1/3 CSL chiller for the heat concern. I have the hood raised over the tank about 6 inches. The hood has 2 fanswhich help too. How ever my fish room, once a peaceful refuge for me to sit in is now like a tanning salon! I think the neighbor's are wondering why my window glows...answer build a canopy... still bright! Is this how it is for any of you fellow reefers? thx Tom |

My house looks like a scene from Poltergeist from outside looking in at night. Wierd freaky light. The neighbors must wonder.

No fish room at my place. My tank sits in what used to be the dining room in the center of the house. My tank lights up three rooms and whenever someone turns a light on I hear the wife say "Do we really need another light on?".
