Which Actinic Bulb?

I am upgrading my lighting to 2x400 6500k PFO MH Bulb Kit

Should I use VHO or PC for the actinic supplement?

If VHO would 2x110 be enough or would I need 3 or 4?

If PC would 2x96w be enough or would I need 3 or 4?

Thanks for your help

That will give you a lot of intensity to keep anything you want.

Should I use VHO or PC for the actinic supplement?

Either one, it's a matter of personal preference.

If VHO would 2x110 be enough or would I need 3 or 4?

Two would certainly be enough but four would be better as far as improving the appearance of the tank, coloration-wise. How large is your tank?

If PC would 2x96w be enough or would I need 3 or 4?

Same answer... except that when it comes to improving the color appearance of 400w 6500K Iwasakis, most folks prefer VHO actinics. But again, it's all a matter of personal preference.

How about a setup like this http://lampsnow.com/4lampvhokit.html

You could try any number of actinic's, if you didnt need all 4 blue they could be replaced with aquasun VHO's or you may possible be able to use a combination of VHO actinics with NO 10kk's.
